This policy explains what Lamponi collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Lamponi is local-first.

01Who we are

Lamponi is provided by Murasaki Italia K.K. ("we", "us"), the entity responsible for handling your personal information in connection with the Service. Our details are at the bottom of this page.

02Information we collect

  • Account information — the email address (and password) you use to sign in.
  • Meeting content — the recordings, transcripts, summaries, and chat history you create. Recordings are stored on your device by default and are synced to your account only when you are signed in and sync is enabled.
  • Usage and billing-protection data — limited metrics such as transcription minutes and request counts, used to operate the Service and prevent abuse.
  • Technical data — basic device, app-version, and log information needed to run and secure the Service.

03How we use your information

  • to provide and operate the Service — including transcription, AI answers, and syncing your meetings;
  • to secure the Service, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms;
  • to respond to your requests and provide support;
  • to maintain and improve the Service.

04Local-first storage

Lamponi is local-first. Your recordings are stored on your own device by default. If you sign in and enable sync, your transcripts and (where applicable) recordings are copied to your account so you can access them across devices.

05Service providers and disclosure

To run the Service we use trusted third-party providers as processors — for example, speech-to-text transcription, AI language processing, and cloud hosting and synchronization. We share your content with them only to the extent needed to provide the Service to you.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your meetings to train our own models. Providers may process data under their own terms and security measures.

06International transfer

Some of our providers operate outside Japan, so your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries. Where we do so, we take measures intended to ensure an appropriate level of protection consistent with applicable law.

07Retention

We retain your account and synced data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can delete your meetings, and you can ask us to close your account and delete associated data, subject to any retention required by law.

08Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including Japan’s Act on the Protection of Personal Information, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of use of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent where processing is based on it. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

09Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10Cookies and local storage

Our website uses minimal local storage — for example, to remember your language preference. We do not use advertising trackers on the Service.

11Children

The Service is not directed to children under the age required by these Terms, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

12Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide notice of material changes.
